Dutch-Indonesian Community at Facebook
This is the community that started it all, months after I joined facebook, I saw this interesting group at facebook, a group dedicated to dutch-indonesians. Being descendant of Indische who has been living in chinese culture, I was introduced to a whole new world, the people who share heritage with me. Indische does not die, in fact, the third generations keep coming, revisiting the history of past colonial times, learning their family history and found that Indo culture worth preserving.
If you have facebook account, I really recommend you to join this group. It’s a small space in internet where we could fit in.

Dr Michael Pilon
Hi all I am in Ottawa. I am on a mission. I would like to see the Government of Canada invite 5-10 Dutch Soldiers to Ottawa to stand as honourary Sentries at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The War Memorial was desecrated 4 years ago and I was the person who exposed this. Join me in extending this invitation. it would be a way for us to thank the Dutch people for their graciousness at the VE 65th year celebrations. It would add to the tribute to the vets and it would show the Dutch people a bit of Ottawa and Canada , which is a great place to visit.
Join me in this..I need all the help I can get. Write to friends here and in the Netherlands And write your MP and to Ministers in parliament
With thanks Michael Pilon http://www.drmichaelpilon.com
